A new child care and preschool campus is under construction on Huggins Drive. Primrose School of Fulshear, at 330 Huggins Drive, is listed by Primrose Schools as opening in early 2027, and the owners say they're aiming for January.

What's being built

According to Primrose, the campus is about 14,000 square feet, and construction started in April 2026. The school's page places it down the road from Huggins Elementary School and Cross Creek Ranch.

In an announcement sent to Fulshear Local, the owners said the school will have 12 classrooms, four playgrounds and a sports court, with room for about 210 children from 6 weeks old through pre-kindergarten. They said it will create 30 to 35 jobs for teachers, school leaders and support staff.

The school's classroom page lists infant, toddler, early preschool, preschool and pre-K classrooms. It also lists after-school care and a summer program for children ages 5 to 12. Classes follow Primrose's Balanced Learning curriculum, which the company describes as a mix of play and teacher-guided learning.

Who owns it

Kelly and Jason Hammons are the franchise owners. According to the school's page, they have owned Primrose School at Waterside Estates since 2017. They said they decided to open in Fulshear after seeing more families move to the area.
