Results

Results

Results will be posted on election night from official Fort Bend County results. The county publishes them on its 2026 election results page. The link that page labels "Unofficial Results" for November 3, 2026, is the county's unofficial results report.

Which ballot this is

Fort Bend County's sample ballot index lists one November 3, 2026 ballot for precinct 1006, one for 1148, and one for 1149. All three are ballot style BS 2, and the three files list the same contests. Names below are in that order. Party abbreviations are the ones printed on the ballot: REP for Republican, DEM for Democratic, LIB for Libertarian, GRE for Green. A write-in line is included only where the sample ballot prints one.

The county file District-Directory-2024-01-02 lists the City of Fulshear in precincts 1006, 1148, and 1149, and marks each of those rows partial. The same file places all three precincts in Congressional District 22, State Representative District 28, State Board of Education District 7, Justice of the Peace Precinct 1, and Commissioner Precinct 1. Confirm a current precinct on the county precinct map before using this list. A Fulshear address in a different precinct can have a different ballot.

When and where to vote

The county's notice of the November 3, 2026 general election says the polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. that day, and that Fort Bend County uses countywide Election Day polling places. A registered Fort Bend County voter can vote at any location on the county list. The Election Day schedule is the full list. Four of those sites are in Fulshear. They are written up at Fulshear Election Day voting locations.

Early voting is Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 30. The county notice and the early-voting schedule set these hours:

  • Monday through Friday, Oct. 19–23: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 24: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 25: 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m.
  • Monday through Friday, Oct. 26–30: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Two early-voting sites on that schedule are in Fulshear: the Fort Bend County ESD No. 4 Administration Building, 33301 FM 1093 Rd., and the Fulshear Branch Library, 6350 GM Library Road. Hours, the rest of the early-voting list, and the photo ID rules are on the county early-voting page and in our November 3 early-voting guide. Open the sample ballot for your own precinct from the sample ballot index.

City of Fulshear

Ballot style BS 2 does not list a City of Fulshear office or a proposition. Fort Bend County's 2026 election notices put the City of Fulshear under the May 2, 2026 election, not under November 3. The city's May 2 notice calls an election for mayor, council members for districts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and at-large members 1 and 2.

Charter amendments are not on this ballot either. The Charter Review Commission agenda for Oct. 26, 2026 still treats term lengths, term limits, and vacancy rules as draft language. Council would have to order an election before any of that could go to voters. The drafts are described in the charter review story.

School districts and utility districts

The same district directory places part of precincts 1006 and 1148 in Katy ISD, part of 1006 and 1148 in Lamar CISD, and all of precinct 1149 in Lamar CISD. The Lamar CISD portion of those precincts is in the district's single-member District 7. Neither school district has a contest on ballot style BS 2, and neither is on the county's November 3 notice list. Katy ISD's elections page says the district's next trustee election is May 1, 2027, for positions 6 and 7. Lamar CISD's board elections page describes May trustee elections. Its posted timeline is the May 3, 2025 election. It does not post a November 3, 2026 election.

The directory also places municipal utility districts in these precincts, including Fulshear MUD No. 1, Fulshear MUD No. 2, Fulshear MUD No. 3A, and Fulshear MUD No. 4, along with other Fort Bend County MUDs. None of those district names is on the November 3 notice list, and ballot style BS 2 has no utility-district contest.

The November 3 notices the county did post, besides Fort Bend County and the Fort Bend Central Appraisal District, are Burney Road MUD, the City of Houston, Fort Bend ISD, MUD 244, MUD 287A, MUD 288, and WCID 13. Those contests are not printed on ballot style BS 2. The sample-ballot index shows only one style for precincts 1006, 1148, and 1149.

State and federal offices

These are the state and federal contests on ballot style BS 2. The Secretary of State's August 28, 2026 certification lists the federal and state nominees. The county sample ballot is what these precincts are given.

The district directory places these three precincts entirely in State Senate District 17. The Secretary of State's 2026 certification does not include a State Senate District 17 contest. It does certify a State Senate District 18 race for other parts of Fort Bend County. That race is not on ballot style BS 2. The sample ballot also has no proposition.

Fort Bend County

Ballot style BS 2 continues with these Fort Bend contests. District judge and district attorney are state district offices elected in Fort Bend County. Justice of the peace is a precinct office. The appraisal district candidates are printed without a party abbreviation.

The directory places these precincts entirely in Commissioner Precinct 1. The sample ballot does not include a county commissioner contest. The state certification for Fort Bend County lists commissioner races for precincts 2 and 4, not precinct 1. There is no County Court at Law No. 5 on this sample ballot.

Questions and answers

Is there a City of Fulshear race or charter amendment on the November 3 ballot?

Not on ballot style BS 2, the sample ballot Fort Bend County posted for precincts 1006, 1148, and 1149. The county's November 3, 2026 election notices do not include the City of Fulshear. The city's 2026 municipal election notice is for May 2, 2026, for mayor and council. Charter amendments reviewed by the city's Charter Review Commission are drafts and are not printed on this ballot.

Do Lamar CISD, Katy ISD, or a MUD have anything on this ballot?

Not on ballot style BS 2. The county's November 3 notice list does not include Lamar CISD or Katy ISD. Katy ISD's elections page says its next trustee election is May 1, 2027. The municipal utility districts and the water district that did file November notices do not appear on these three sample ballots.
