The registration page starts Rudolph's Reindeer Dash at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K and 10K at 8:00 a.m. The Fulshear Regional Chamber listing gives the same morning as 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The registration page lists the 5K at $40 and the 10K at $50, and says each price increases after November 5, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CST. It lists the Reindeer Dash at $30, increasing after December 4, 2026, at 11:59 a.m. CST, and a virtual option at $40, increasing after December 4, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CST. Forever Fulshear Farmers' Market holiday evening market

Forever Fulshear Farmers' Market holiday evening marketDecember 16, 2026, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. · Forever Fulshear Farmers' Market

Wednesday, December 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The market says Santa is coming. It does not give a street address for the evening, and it does not state a cost.

The market's page says the 2026 holiday evening market is December 16 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and that Santa is coming. That sentence does not name a street. Elsewhere on the page the market's address is 9035 Bois d'Arc Lane, Richmond, Texas 77406. The page also says the market is closed during the two weeks closest to Christmas and New Year, and that it skips the Saturdays at Christmas and New Year's Day. The Saturday list that follows that rule is on this weekend.

Cost: the holiday evening listing does not state one.

City tree lighting

Date not confirmed. The Christmas Tree Lighting & Holiday Market page says Saturday, December 26, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the City of Fulshear Municipal Complex, 6611 W. Cross Creek Bend Ln. A vendor heading on that same page reads "Christmas Tree Lighting & Holiday Market | 12.05.26 | 4 PM -7 PM." December 26, 2026, and 12.05.26 are not the same date, so this guide does not pick one.

The page describes train rides, face painting, a letter-to-Santa station, photos with Santa, the Huggins Elementary Choir, cookies from H-E-B, and local vendors. It includes a booth form for vendors. It does not state a public admission price. The city's special-events page names Fulshear's Merry Little Christmas & Tree Lighting as an annual event and does not put a 2026 date on that list.

The economic development programming page still describes the tree lighting as December 6, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fulshear City Hall, 6611 W Cross Creek Bend Lane. That page also still lists a December 19, 2025, sweater party at The Growler Spot, 29615 Farm to Market 1093, and a December 20, 2025, event at Dozier's BBQ, 8222 Main Street. It does not give 2026 dates for those three.

Fulshear Branch Library

December holiday programs at the Fulshear Branch are not posted. The library's day calendar from November 16, 2026, through January 3, 2027, listed Fulshear Branch programs in November. It did not list a December story time, craft, or other program at that branch. The hours page links to the system 2026 closings list.

That closings list gives these holiday dates:

  • November 25: close at 5:00 p.m., Thanksgiving
  • November 26, 27, 28, and 29: Thanksgiving
  • December 23: close at 5 p.m., the day before Christmas Eve
  • December 24, 25, 26, and 27: Christmas holiday
  • December 31: close at 5:00 p.m., New Year's Eve
  • January 1, 2, and 3, 2027: New Year's Day

The branch is at 6350 GM Library Rd. Regular hours are on the Fulshear Branch page and on things to do.

Lights and neighborhood events

A 2026 map of neighborhood light displays is not on the city pages checked for this guide. The city's news post of December 5, 2023, announced a holiday lights map and a form for residents to add a house. That post is still the lights item on the city news list.

Cross Creek Ranch and Jordan Ranch do not have a 2026 public holiday event on the pages checked here. Jordan Ranch's holiday-activities page is dated December 19, 2022, and describes resident events, including a decorating contest people could drive by. Its lifestyle-director note does not list a dated 2026 event. Cross Creek Ranch's "Get the Holidays Rolling" post is dated December 11, 2017.

Holiday markets

The farmers' market evening on December 16 is the holiday market whose Fulshear listing gives a 2026 date. The city's tree-lighting page also describes local vendors, with the date conflict above.

The Fulshear Regional Chamber lists Mistletoe at the Manor for Sunday, December 6, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Briscoe Manor. The City of Richmond facility directory lists Briscoe Manor at 5801 FM 723, Richmond, TX 77406. That event is in Richmond, so it is left off this Fulshear list.

Thanksgiving and Christmas trash pickup

Trash and recycling inside Fulshear city limits are every Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with carts out by 7:00 a.m. The solid-waste FAQ says that when a holiday falls on the regular trash day, the contractor picks up the following Saturday. The FAQ does not name the holidays.

Thanksgiving Day 2026 is Thursday, November 26. Christmas Day 2026 is Friday, December 25. Neither date is a Wednesday. The city pages checked for this guide do not publish a separate 2026 calendar that moves either holiday. The full rules, including what the city says about a Wednesday holiday, are on trash and recycling.

Questions and answers

When is the Fulshear Christmas tree lighting in 2026?

The city's Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Market page lists Saturday, December 26, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the City of Fulshear Municipal Complex, 6611 W. Cross Creek Bend Lane. A vendor heading on the same page says 12.05.26, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Those dates do not match, so this guide does not treat one date as confirmed.

Which 2026 Fulshear holiday events have a confirmed date?

Run Run Rudolph is Saturday, December 19, 2026, at Jordan High School, 27500 Fulshear Bend Drive. The registration page starts the Reindeer Dash at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K and 10K at 8:00 a.m. The farmers' market holiday evening market is Wednesday, December 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. That listing says Santa is coming and does not give a street address or a cost for the evening.

Do Thanksgiving and Christmas change Fulshear trash pickup in 2026?

Thanksgiving Day 2026 is Thursday, November 26, and Christmas Day 2026 is Friday, December 25. The city's solid-waste FAQ says pickup moves to the following Saturday when a holiday falls on the regular Wednesday trash day. The city pages checked for this guide do not publish a 2026 list that moves Thanksgiving or Christmas off Wednesday. The standing rules are on the trash and recycling page.
