Fort Bend County's general election is Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026. Early voting runs Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 30. The county elections office has published the hours, a list of 35 early-voting sites, sample ballots by precinct, and the photo ID rules.

When early voting is open

The early-voting schedule is marked created September 10, 2026, and approved by Commissioners Court that day. It sets these hours:

  • Monday through Friday, Oct. 19–23: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 24: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 25: 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m.
  • Monday through Friday, Oct. 26–30: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The schedule lists 35 early-voting sites and marks the Firethorne Clubhouse location closed. Two addresses on the list are in Fulshear:

  • Fort Bend County ESD No. 4 Administration Building, 33301 FM 1093 Rd., Fulshear
  • Fulshear Branch Library, 6350 GM Library Road, Fulshear

Registration and mail ballots

The county's early-voting page says Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, was the last day to register to vote, or to update an address, before early voting begins Oct. 19. It says people already registered in Fort Bend County may update an address at VoteTexas.gov, and that a new registrant must turn in a signed application in person at 3730 Bamore Rd., Rosenberg, TX 77471.

The same page says the last day to apply for a ballot by mail is Oct. 23, 2026, and that the application must be received, not merely postmarked. The last day of early voting is Friday, Oct. 30. Election day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026.

How to find your precinct and sample ballot

The sample ballot index links a ballot file for each precinct. The county's precinct map is the place to confirm a current precinct.

The county elections file District-Directory-2024-01-02 lists the City of Fulshear in voter precincts 1006, 1148, and 1149. Each of those rows is marked as a partial precinct. The same file lists part of precinct 1006 in the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction. Use the precinct map for a 2026 lookup before choosing a sample ballot.

What ballot style BS 2 shows

Those sample ballots are headed as the official ballot for the Fort Bend County general election on November 3, 2026. They do not include a City of Fulshear office or a proposition. They do include federal, state, and county contests. Party labels are printed as REP, DEM, LIB, and GRE. Some contests include a write-in line.

What ID the county asks for

The county photo ID page says voters will be asked to show one form of photo identification before casting a ballot. A voter who does not present it may vote a provisional ballot and has six days to present proper identification to the county voter registrar for that ballot to be accepted. A voter who does not have, and cannot reasonably obtain, one of the accepted photo IDs may present a supporting form of identification and sign a Reasonable Impediment Declaration.
